While Jimmy Garroppolo is the quarterback in waiting for the Patriots after Tom Brady retires, it seems like he may be waiting longer than planned. A lot longer.
According to team owner Robert Kraft, Brady doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon, telling him he wants to play until 2023 or 2024.
“As recently as two or three days ago, he assured me that he’d be willing to play another six or seven years,” Kraft said Monday, per The MMQB’s Albert Breer.

The 39-year-old has not only shown no signs of slowing down, he’s statistically gotten better, throwing for the best touchdown to interception ratio in history last season, all while bring home some shinny silver trophy.
