Jets QB Christian Hackenberg Reportedly Keeps Hitting Reporters With Throws During OTAs

The New York Jets are looking as if they’ll win one thing this upcoming season, and that’s the top spot for the worst team in football. Yes, even the Browns are looking like they have more upside than this “team.”

The latest news in the circus that resides in Florham Park, NJ comes from quarterback Christian Hackenberg reportedly hitting media members with errant passes during recent team drills.

Connor Hughes of NJ Advance Media noted on Thursday that the team’s 2016 2nd round pick had a few way-off throws, saying “In the three media-open OTAs, Hackenberg hit reporters with passes twice.”

Hackenberg failed to even see the field during his rookie season, completing just 36.2% of his passes with one touchdown and two interceptions during the preseason.

Hackenberg is battling Josh McCown and Bryce Petty for the team’s position of starting interception thrower.
