In preparation for one of the most anticipated regular season games in recent league history, the NFL opted to switch out the previously scheduled refereeing crew for an “All-Star” crew.
The unprecedented move ignited debate amongst conspiracy theorists on whether the game was potentially rigged, and this won’t help.
In the second quarter, a pass interference penalty was called on the Chiefs following contact on a Rams WR in the end zone despite the ball being tipped at the line of scrimmage, negating any pass interference.
With Kansas City head coach Andy Reid furious at the referees and Jared Goff for some unbeknownst reason following the call, an official could be seen winking at the Rams quarterback.

The call was eventually reversed after being challenged by Reid.
