14. Blue – Why on earth is Jay back to “paying homage” to Big? Anyway Jay is panicking about being a father. Dude, you have millions of dollars, QUIT IT. We don’t believe you, you need more people.
15. La Familia – Jay said family first on here. Oh yea? (thewire) So where are Amil, Memphis Bleek, and Freeway, Jay? Where is Beans Jay? Where is he?(/thewire)
Jay talking about family sounds like Aaron Hernandez talking about friendship. This is definitely some end of the album music right here. Like Jay just said f*ck it put that sh*t on there, Im tired, I need an Ensure and my pills. Old man still an old man, I guess. San Antonio Spurs STAND UP!
16. Nickles and Dimes – At least he ended the album on a decent note. Stil, not much to write about this song. It does the job. Serviceable. Whatever.
First half of this album is pretty epic. 2nd half feels like Jay remembers his age and that hasn’t had to drive himself anywhere for the last 15 years. However overall, this is easily one of the best albums so far this year, a remarkable feat for someone who most likely wears depends because he has a bladder problem and has to get his prostate checked once a year. Remarkable! I give this album 3/5 Waltons. Throw it DOWN Jay Z, throw it DOWN!
