Rajon Rondo honored the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing by wearing these shoes with all the victims initials on it along with the date of the tragic event in a marathon tag style. He called them the “Boston Strong” shoes. Rondo wore these shoes on the final night of the regular season against the Washington Wizards. After the game, Rondo told CSNNE Celtics Sideline Reporter Abby Chin that he will donate the shoes to the ‘One Fund’ foundation. Classy way to go out, Rondo.
