St. Louis Rams punter Johnny Hekker tried acting like a tough guy once …it went extremely wrong.
After a first-half boot against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon, Hekker pushed cornerback Cliff Avril from behind to the ground—which while legal, was an extremely bold move given that the defensive end is 260 pounds of beast.
Avril retaliated by nailing Hekker back and was called for a penalty. The next time St. Louis punted, Avril and Michael Bennett went at Hekker like a pack of lions on a zebra.
