Florida State was looking to win their second straight and get back on track after getting demolished by Louisville. That plan was derailed today when the UNC tar heels came into Tallahassee and snapped the Noles home-winning streak, the nation’s longest before today.
After the Seminoles scored with a minute to go, UNC drove quickly, setting themselves up for a 53-yard FG, which kicker Nick Weiler drilled.
To celebrate, he casually ran almost the entire length of the field, taunting the 83,000 distraught FSU faithful in Doak Campbell Stadium with their own coveted tomahawk war chant.
