Tom Brady’s Dad Says Roger Goodell Doesn’t Deserve To Be On Stage With Son If Patriots Win

NFL: Super Bowl XLIX-Winning Head Coach and MVP Press Conference

It’s safe to say Tom Brady isn’t to fond of commissioner Roger Goodell, but he might not even be the Brady most upset about the outcome of ‘Deflategate.’

Tom Brady Sr. held nothing back in an interview with KRON in San Francisco, calling Goodall’s rolling over the deflated ball saga a disgrace.

“He went on a witch hunt and went in way over his head and had to lie his way out in numerous ways and the reality is that Tommy never got suspended for deflating footballs,” Brady Sr. said.

“He got suspended because the court said that he could, Roger Goodell could do anything that he wanted to do to any player for any reason whatsoever. That’s what happened. The NFL admitted they had no evidence on him.”

If Tom Brady wins Super bowl LI, Goodell will be there to awkwardly hand the Patriots QB the trophy in the same season he suspended him for, even though the commish denies reports the tension, saying he would be “honored.” That of course comes after Goodell had dodged going to a single Patriots game in two years.

Brady Sr. dropped the mic syaing, “It should be an honor because somebody that has Roger Goodell’s ethics doesn’t belong on any stage that Tom Brady is on.”
