New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis has apparently been the first the make headlines in the usual long list of legal troubles involving NFL players during the NFL offseason.

Following an incident reported earlier Thursday that took play in Pittsburgh, PA, Revis has now been officially charged Thursday with four felonies, including two counts of aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy, and making terroristic threats. The incident reportedly occurred early Sunday morning at 2:43 am, where the NFL star was said to have knocked two people unconscious.

He has yet to turn himself into authorities.

As if playing for the Jets wasn’t enough punishment, Darrelle Revis could be seeing some serious consequences if this situation doesn’t turn around. The judge could eventually rule Revis must finish his career with the Jets, but such a verdict may fall under cruel & unusual punishment.
