Mike Francesa Goes Off On A Caller Who Won’t Stop Calling Him “Michael”

Mike Francesa doesn’t like the World Baseball Classic as much as he doesn’t like being called “Michael.”

Mike Francesa had enough of one caller on Tuesday, who kept addressing the longtime WFAN host as “Michael”, rather than Mike.

The caller, also named Mike, phoned in to discuss why Mets P Noah Syndergaard should have pitched for the U.S. in the World Baseball Classic.

Francesa in his obnoxious way, explained to him that nobody cared about the World Baseball Classic.

But caller Mike continued his argument that the World Baseball Classic is an important envent and did so by calling Francesa, “Michael” at every opportune time. About a minute in Francesa had enough and gave the caller an ultimatum.

The conversation ended with Francesa hanging up the phone.
