Former Cowboys QB Tony Romo announced he would be ending his career in football to purse one in broadcasting.
Since, he’s been praised perhaps a little too much for a guy who retired with only two career playoff wins. Even Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban honored Romo by suiting him up in full uniform for an NBA game, getting his name announced in the introductions.
Comedian and actor Michael Rapaport summed up exactly what some people are feeling amidst all the worship of Romo, saying “Why is Tony Romo being paraded around in the Popemobile? He wasn’t that dude.”
