It all started earlier this year with a shot in the dark tweet during Super Bowl LI.
Some random college kid tweeted at Canadian tennis star and Sports Illustrated model Eugenie Bouchard asking if she would go on a date with him if the Patriots, down big at the time, somehow miraculously won. She responded, and soon after, his prayers were answered.
Bouchard took him to a Brooklyn Nets game as their first, and frankly what they both thought would be their only date.

Month later, that random kid scored a few more dates, and is actually hanging out with her again, even warranting a ‘kissy face’ emoji on Twitter.

Seem’s the the Patriots weren’t the only winner of the Super Bowl.
