Baker Mayfield Gets Emotional Reflecting On Collegiate Career After Rose Bowl Loss

What a collegiate career it’s been for Baker Mayfield.

The often controversial Oklahoma Sooners quarterback’s amazing college career came to an end in an epic 54-48 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 Rose Bowl.

During his press conference after the stunning loss, the 2018 Heisman-winner was full of emotions as he reflected back on his career at Oklahoma and how it was starting to settle in that he would not be putting on a Sooners uniform again:


Mayfield’s collegiate career has been a wild one, with many ups and downs. He wasn’t highly recruited and walked on at Texas Tech.

He eventually transferred to Oklahoma and well, the rest is history:

Baker Mayfield will now move on to the next level as the NFL awaits the exciting young quarterback.

He’s projected to be a first round pick in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft.
