Sean Payton And Dirk Koetter Got Into A Heated Exchange Following Saints-Bucs Week 17 Game

Apparently the rivalry between the Saints and Buccaneers includes the two team’s respected head coaches.

On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended their disappointing 2017 season with an exciting victory over the New Orleans Saints but what transpired after the game is what’s being talked about today.

Like all head coaches do after the game, Dirk Koetter and Sean Payton met at midfield to shake hands but this handshake wasn’t your typical handshake as both coaches got into an extremely awkward altercation, slapping each others chest.

The Bucs head coach seemed to want to discuss what happened in the team’s previous meeting, where WR Mike Evans took a cheap shot at Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore, resulting in a suspension.

Payton wasn’t interested in hearing Koetter’s explanation and abruptly walked off.
