Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin was arrested Friday for a disturbing photo he posted to his Instagram story.

MORE: This was the message sent to students at Harvard Westlake HS about the closure this morning
“Students already on campus will be supervised and protected in designated areas until parents can make arrangements to pick them up or for them to return home safely”

Martin, who’s name you may remember due to a bullying scandal surrounding him and teammate Richie Incognito, posted this image of a shotgun sitting on what appears to be a bed, surrounded by multiple shells. Even more disturbing is the text that the Stanford graduate wrote on the photo, which includes the Miami Dolphins and a Los Angeles high school, Harvard-Westlake School. Martin also tagged numerous NFL players, including Incognito.

The caption reads, “When you’re a bully victim and a coward, your options are suicide or revenge,” Martin cryptically posted.
The threat caused the school to close immediately.
The post, frankly poorly timed at any time, is especially chilling considering the massacre at Majority Stoneman Douglas High School where 17 students were shot and killed by a school shooter.
Martin retired from the NFL in 2015.
