A day after Nike released an endorsement featuring QB Colin Kaepernick, the President (right on queue) took to his Twitter to voice his displeasure with the NFL, stating that TV ratings have gone down because players continue to disrespect the Anthem.
He also took a swipe at Nike and their endorsement of Kaepernick:
Just like the NFL, whose ratings have gone WAY DOWN, Nike is getting absolutely killed with anger and boycotts. I wonder if they had any idea that it would be this way? As far as the NFL is concerned, I just find it hard to watch, and always will, until they stand for the FLAG!

Someone has to fill the President in that players aren’t protesting the Anthem.
