Through six weeks, it’s safe to say the Jon Gruden era with the Raiders has been nothing short of a disaster thus far.
In just one season, Oakland has gone from Super Bowl favorites heading into 2017, to a dumpster fire of team. Sitting at 1-5, the team’s only win came on the back of a game-changing call that the NFL later admitted their officials got wrong.
Not only have the Raiders traded away the best defense player in football away since Gruden was brought on, news broke that the team also is shopping some of it’s next best players, Amari Cooper and Karl Joseph. Quarterback Derek Carr has also done nothing but regressed.
A far cry from the hysteria that swept Oakland following the signing of one of the most highly touted football coaches in history, Raiders fans have already turned on Gruden.
As if we needed proof of such, fans have already created a website counting down the seconds until his 10-year contract worth $100 million expires.
#Raiders fans created a website called https://t.co/goXkzj5Mj4 and it tracks how long until his 10-year deal is over and how much money he’s made since you clicked on the site and how much more money he’s owed.
