Kansas City Chiefs Sign WR Kelvin Benjamin

KANSAS CITY, MO – The Chiefs had an open roster spot having released heavy hitter Kareem Hunt, and with the vacancy, have signed a heavy hitter at the buffet line.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced Thursday night that Kansas City signed former Buffalo Bills wide receiver turned left guard playing WR, Kelvin Benjamin.

The former first-round pick was traded by the Carolina Panthers to the Buffalo Bills in November of 2017.

Benjamin has recorded 23 catches, 41 Big Macs and 354 yards with a touchdown this season.

Sources suspect Andy Reid’s extensive knowledge of the best BBQ rib buffets in Kansas City was a major determining factor in his decision to sign with the team.

Benjamin also noted that he first thought it he was signing with ‘KFC’ but it was “all good” when he realized it was ‘KC’.
