In perhaps the most random news of the NFL offseason, Brett Favre posted on Instagram Tuesday that he’ll be coming out of retirement for the 2020 season.
The 49-year-old Hall of Famer first retired in 2007 and then returned to play three more seasons before retiring for the second time in 2010.
If he were to return a season from now, Favre would be the oldest player in league history.
The post was later deleted and Favre has not issued any further statements.
