It all seemed to be over when the Raiders announced that Antonio Brown would take the field with his team for Oakland’s Week 1 game against the Broncos Monday night.
Jon Gruden told the media that the team would in fact not suspend their star WR after all, following a sequence of events that culminated with Brown physically threatening GM Mike Mayok.
According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, instead of being suspended, Brown has been fined an unspecified amount, and is reportedly “not happy” about it.
Source: The #Raiders fined WR Antonio Brown an unspecified amount for his unprofessional behavior in a recent interaction with GM Mike Mayock. “He’s been fined and he’s not happy,” the source said.
