The term ‘Running Back U’ or ‘Cornerback U’ gets thrown around in talks with college football, but if there is ever such thing as ‘Astronaut U’, Purdue would be it.
An astounding 25 astronauts have graduated from the school, and with the 50th Anniversary of man’s first walk on the moon courtesy of Purdue Almun Neil Armstrong, the school’s football team has something special in store.
The Boilermakers unveiled these awesome moon landing-themed unis that will be worn on Homecoming when Purdue takes on Maryland.
