Twitter Goes Crazy After The Pope Inadvertently Tagged The Saints In A Tweet

Pope Francis is getting a lot of attention from NFL fans in America right now.

on Sunday, five new Saints — Cardinal John Henry Newman, Giuseppina Vannini, Mariam Thresia Chiaramel Mankidiyan, Dulce Lopes Pontes, and Marquerite Bays were said to be canonized in the Vatican City.

The Pope recognized them on Twitter but he inadvertently hashtagged the Saints so an emoji of the Saints logo was included in the Tweet:

Today we give thanks to the Lord for our new #Saints. They walked by faith and now we invoke their intercession.
