Cavs’ Kevin Love Donating $100k Of His Own Money To Support Arena Staff During Coronavirus Work Stoppage

In a not surprising, yet still shocking memo, the NBA announced Wednesday night that the league would be suspending the 2019-2020 season in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban made headlines by immediately thinking of how he could make sure those in the arena not being paid millions would be able to tread water during the indefinite work stoppage during an interview following the news break.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is now making a humanitarian effort himself to help those who go unnoticed in times like these, pledging $100k to help support Quicken Loans Arena staff.

The team later announced that they will be paying arena staff per usual as if games were being played despite there not being any.
