Nike has always dared to be proactive in speaking out on societal and racial issues that aren’t specific to sports but bleed into them, and the company is at it again following the death of George Floyd.
As protests and riots sweep the nation following police killing an unarmed black man by kneeling on his neck for more than seven straight minutes in the streets of Minneapolis, MN, the footwear giant dropped an ad titled ‘Just Don’t Do It’, with the message of change.

The officers involved in Floyd’s death have been taken into custody, with the officer who knelt on Floyd’s neck charged with murder.
