The Tennessee Titans have a COVID-19 outbreak on their hands.
Earlier this week, it was reported that multiple Titans players tested positive for the coronavirus. The positive tests prompted the National Football League to postpone the Titans’ Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers to Week 7.
The Titans proceeded to conduct contract tracing to locate any more positive tests and the results showed that eight total players contracted the virus, with the eighth person being standout defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons.
In addition to eight players, the Titans also had eight personnel that tested positive, bringing the total to 16.
