MRI Confirms Joe Burrow Tore His ACL, Could Have Additional Knee Damage

Joe Burrow had his leg struck by a defender while planted in the turf during Sunday’s game against Washington, a hit that would end his stellar rookie season.

An MRI has confirmed that Burrow tore his ACL and could possibly have additional damage to his left knee.

#Bengals QB Joe Burrow suffered a torn ACL based on the initial diagnosis, source said. There may be additional damage. Burrow signaled it with his tweet, but the MRI confirming the injury would end his stellar rookie season.

Burrow will miss the remainder of 2020 but with the injury occurring midseason, Burrow is expected to be under center come Week 1 next season barring no complications or setbacks.
