The beatdown the Detroit Lions suffered at home on Thanksgiving was apparently the final straw for Martha Ford.
Two days after the Lions lost 41-25 to the Texans, head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn are both out in Detroit.
Patricia was hired by Quinn from the Patriots where he was Belichick’s defensive coordinator, which clearly didn’t translate into his first head coaching tenure.
He went 13–29–1 (.314), significantly wore than former Lions coach Jim Caldwell, whom Patricia replaced.
