Seahawks WR DK Metcalf Runs A 10.37 100M Dash At Olympic Trials

DK Metcalf’s speed was undeniable last season after he made perhaps the play of the year when he chased down Arizona’s Budda Baker after a Russell Wilson interception to save a touchdown.

Funny enough, the US Track and Field team tweeted at the Seahawks WR after the play joking that they have a spot on their relay team. Fast forward 7 months, and Metcalf is actually attempting to get that spot.

The 23-year-old tried out for the team that will travel to the Olympics this summer at the Golden Games and Distance Open this Saturday, and here is video of the race:

Metcalf finished with a time of 10.37, a relatively impressive time considering his weight being 50lbs. more than any other sprinter in the field.
