Detroit Lions RB D’Andre Swift went viral on social media on Thursday over a rumor of him being implicated in a murder.

NFL Insider Dave Kluge reportedly reached out to the Philadelphia Police Dept. and spoke with an officer in the Commissioner’s Office. He was told that an anonymous tip came in months ago that implicated the Detroit Lions running back in a murder.

There was an anonymous tip that came in via Tipline over 2 months ago that implicated D'Andre Swift in a murder. The officer said that Swift is not being investigated at this time.

Swift is looking to enter his second season and is looking to have a larger role with the Lions. He finished his rookie seasons with 521 rushing yards and eight touchdowns to go along with 46 receptions for 357 yards and two touchdowns.
