This story pretty much sums up what its like being a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
On Sunday, the Eagles stopped a three-game losing streak by coming from behind to defeat the Carolina Panthers, 21-18. The game was a very stressful for one fan who couldn’t stick around to see the Eagles come back. He apparently passed out from yelling at his team throughout the game and eventually woke up in a hospital to find out that the Eagles had pulled off the win.
The fan shared the alleged story during a call to WIP’s ‘Angelo Cataldi and the Morning Team‘ show. He claimed that he was actually making the call from his hospital bed in Philadelphia and explained that Nick Siranni’s play-calling was so bad he passed out and woke up in the hospital after the game was over. It wasn’t until after he woke up that he was informed that the Eagles actually won the game.
Sports can do that to you sometimes.
