Jared Goff Hung Up On Sean McVay When He Called Him To Tell Him About Trade To Lions

Jared Goff and Sean McVay didn’t exactly have a good relationship during their time together in Los Angeles so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Goff was traded last offseason but this tidbit from Jay Glazer highlights just how bad the relationship was.

Glazer said that when the trade went down that sent Goff (and a trio of draft picks) to the Lions in exchange for Matthew Stafford, McVay called Goff. What happened next is priceless.

“Jared Goff hung up on Sean McVan when Sean called to talk when the trade took place,” Glazer said.

Jared Goff and Sean McVay weren't really speaking after Goff was traded to the Lions. Months later, the 2 actually bumped into each other randomly at an LA restaurant.
