BREAKING: Sean Payton Has Informed Saints He’s Stepping Down As Saints HC

Major changes are coming to New Orleans.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Sean Payton has informed the New Orelans Saints he intends to step down as the head coach:

Payton has been the head coach of the Saints since 2006. He has a record of 152-89 including one Super Bowl victory. The team’s defensive coordinator Dennis Allen is the presumed successor to Payton.
