Tom Brady Retiring After 22 Seasons In The NFL

The day that we all once thought was eminent and then believed would never come, has arrived.

Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, Jr., perhaps the greatest football player to walk this earth, is calling it quits.

After a marathon 22-season career in the NFL, the Buccaneers QB announced his retirement.

Brady, who you could argue has had three separate Hall of Fame careers in his time playing, has all the accolades.

  • Three-time Super Bowl runner-up (2007, 2011, 2017)
  • Five-time Super Bowl MVP (2001, 2003, 2014, 2016, 2020)
  • Three-time NFL MVP (2007, 2010, 2017)

Brady finishes his career having won 12.7% of Super Bowls ever played, and reached a Super Bowl in a whopping 50% of the seasons he started in the NFL.

Legendary.
