Sean McVay Remains Non-Committal On Coaching The Rams Next Season

The Los Angeles Rams hopes of repeating as Super Bowl champions might be a little harder than expected as their superstar defensive player Aaron Donald is reportedly considering retirement.

But he’s not the only one that’s noncommittal about returning to the Rams next season.

Sean McVay was asked about returning to the Rams in 2022-23 and didn’t guarantee he’d be back, saying, “we’ll see” when asked:

McVay’s answer comes after speculation came to light of him potentially retiring and taking a break from coaching, while taking a job as a broadcast. McVay added, “I’m just enjoying this moment right now. I’m really happy to be a part of this. Happy for that.”

McVay acknowledged that winning the Super Bowl would make it easier for him to walk away when he determines it’s the right time to do so: “I think you could definitely say that.”

Would a new contract make McVay return? We’ll see.
