REPORT: “Multiple” NFL Owners Wanted Daniel Snyder To Be Forced To Sell Washington Commanders

With Robert Sarver announcing his intentions to sell the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury, it brings many back to the NFL with Washington and embattled Commanders owner Dan Snyder.

Last week, the NBA released its findings on Sarver after a year-long investigation into workplace misconduct and inappropriate behavior. Amid heavy pressure, Sarver committed to selling both the Suns and the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury just a week later.

According to a recent story from team insider Mark Maske of the Washington Post, “multiple” NFL owners believe Snyder needs to surrender his team.

Snyder was investigated for creating a toxic workplace environment within the Commanders organization.

Earlier this year, the NFL fined the Washington Football Team and owner Daniel Snyder $10 million for the rampant misconduct in the organization during his tenure as owner.

Snyder said he would step aside from the day-to-day operations of the team for the next several months, and co-CEO — Snyder’s wife Tanya — would oversee the team and represent the club in all league matters.

There was no suspension for Snyder.

Instead, the fine is paid, Snyder says he is backing off, and before you know it, he will be back like nothing ever happened.
