Baker Mayfield went from the long-awaited savior of the Browns franchise and one of the most highly touted young QBs to a backup for an XFL QB just a couple years later.
Mayfield, who was traded to Carolina after numerous teams passed on him during months of free agency, started the season but now finds himself alongside Sam Darnold backing up PJ Tucker.
Not only is Tucker getting the first-team reps in practice, the Panthers literally have Mayfield taking snaps on defense in his red penny which is a hilarious look.
