Jeff Saturday Gave Passionate Response When Asked About Being Offered HC Job Without Prior Experience

The Indianapolis Colts shocked the football world this week when they named Jeff Saturday their interim head coach after firing Frank Reich.

In the immediate aftermath of the news, many pointed to the fact that Saturday has no prior experience coaching on the professional or collegiate level. They brought up the Rooney Rule and now Saturday got an opportunity that many minority candidates don’t get despite ample amounts of experience.

On Wednesday, Saturday met the media for the first time as the team’s head coach and gave a passionate answer when asked if he believes he can be successful despite the lack of experience:

Saturday’s first game will be against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
