The hiring of Jeff Saturday by the Indianapolis Colts has been heavily scrutinized by many across the NFL world.
On Sunday, former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach and current CBS NFL Sunday host Bill Cowher went in on Jim Irsay for the hiring of a coach who has no experience coaching on the collegiate or professional level:
“For an owner to hire a coach who’s never been in the system at the college level or the pro level and overseeing a lot of candidates who are qualified for a head job .. is a disgrace to the coaching profession. And regardless what happens in Indianapolis, what happened here is a travesty.”
