BREAKING: Cowboys Have Fired Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore

Big changes are coming to Dallas.

On Sunday, the Cowboys announced that they have fired offensive coordinator Kellen Moore with Mike McCarthy expecting to take over as the play-caller.

The move comes a few days after Mike McCarthy was noncommittal on Moore’s future with the team, saying that everyone is still under evaluation after the Cowboys latest playoff exit in the NFC Divisional Round:

The decision is head-scratching because Moore was a finalist for the Carolina Panthers head-coaching job and last season interviewed for numerous jobs including the Miami Dolphins.
