BREAKING: Vikings Are Hiring Brian Flores As Their Defensive Coordinator

The Minnesota Vikings have a new defensive coordinator.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Vikings are hiring former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores as their D-Coordinator:

Flores, who spent this past season as an assistant coach on Mike Tomlin’s coaching staff in Pittsburgh will look to help improve the Vikings’ 31st ranked defense.

The former Miami Dolphins head coach also has an active lawsuit against the NFL over discrimination in the hiring process for head coaches.

He was also a finalist for the Arizona Cardinals head-coaching job as well as someone the Denver Broncos wanted to speak to about their defensive coordinator job. Instead, Flores heads to Minnesota.
