New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas took a massive shot the National Football League and their medical staff in a. since deleted tweet.
Thomas was responding to news about former NFL safety Chris Maragos and how he won’t a $43.5 million lawsuit over a case on his knee injury, Thomas based the league’s medical staff, saying it “sucks.” He added that they’re “cheap” and “uneducated” while also claiming that they don’t require much “education or curriculum.”
The 2019 Offensive Player of the Year was off to a historic start to his career but injuries have unfortunately derailed his career since 2020. Thomas missed nine games in 2020 due to an ankle injury which ended up costing him the entire 2021 season as well.
Thomas had two touchdowns in a thrilling comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 of this past season, but the injury bug struck once again and kept him on the sidelines for the final 14 regular season games.
