The Denver Broncos are hiring Vance Joseph as their defensive coordinator under new head coach Sean Payton, according to Peter Schrager of NFL Network.
Joseph spent two seasons has the head coach of the Broncos from 2017-18 and was fired after a 11-21 season. He had been the defensive coordinator in Arizona with the Cardinals the past four seasons.
Has a coach who’s been fired by a team ever returned to the team as a coordinator?
