It’s official – Lamar Jackson wants out of Baltimore.
The former MVP quarterback took to Twitter on Monday to announce that as of March 2nd, he has requested a trade from the Baltimore Ravens.
Jackson is currently a free agent who the Ravens placed the franchise tag on. It means Jackson is free to talk to other teams, and if one of them offers him a contract, the Ravens could either match it or receive two first-round picks from the team Jackson signs with.
It just seems like there’s no team willing to meet his contractual demands while also be willing to give two first-round picks to the Ravens.
