BREAKING: Packers Have Traded Aaron Rodgers To The New York Jets

The deal is finally done.

The Green Bay Packers have finalized a trade to send Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets in exchange for draft compensation.

Jets get:
🏈Aaron Rodgers, pick No. 15, a 2023 5th-rd pick (No. 170).

Packers get:
🏈Pick No. 13, a 2023 2nd-rd pick (No. 42), a 6th-rd pick (No. 207), a conditional 2024 2nd-rd pick that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays. pic.twitter.com/Q2vUMfyZGH

Months ago, Aaron Rodgers told the world (via the Pat McAfee Show) that he intended to continue playing football and wanted to be traded to the New York Jets after he got indication from the Green Bay Packers that the team was ready to move off of the legendary quarterback.

Earlier this week both sides re-engaged on trade talks with the hopes of getting a deal done before Thursday NFL Draft and they did.
