Two years ago, the sports world watched as a scandal unfolded right in front of eyes that featured a fake high school football team – Bishop Sycamore — take on a high school powerhouse — IMG Academy — in a nationally televised game on ESPN.
Bishop Sycamore lost the game 58-0 and looked completely incompetent while doing it, which led to the fake school being exposed as a phony.
On Thursday, HBO released a trailer for an upcoming documentary on the scandal, titled ‘BS High’ which further details how players were duped into playing for this illegitimate team and goes inside the world of high school sports that allowed the program to get a matchup with one of the best teams in the nations. The documentary will feature coach Roy Johnson, who was at the center of the controversy.
‘BS High’ will premiere on August 23rd.
