REPORT: Jonathan Taylor Leaves Colts Training Camp Practice Again After Returning Two Days Earlier

The saga involving Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts continues to get weirder and weirder.

On Monday, Taylor returned to Colts training camp after leaving for over a week to rehab his ankle injury. Upon his arrival, Taylor lasted just two days with the team but then left again, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

His departure from the Colts is for a “personal matter” and the team is calling it an excused absence.

Last month, Taylor requested a trade from the Indianapolis Colts due to a dispute over his contract. Taylor hasn’t practiced with the team since the start of training camp and won’t practice until his contract situation is settled.


So far, the Colts aren’t eager to trade Taylor but they don’t seem inclined to meet his contact demands, either.
