ChiefsAholic might be behind bars for the foreseeable future.

A Kansas City Chiefs super-fan known as “ChiefsAholic” who became popular for attending Chiefs games dressed as a wolf in Chiefs’ gear has been indicted by a federal grand jury that accuses him of armed robbery and money laundering in a string of bank robberies across four states that netted him nearly $700,000.

Xavier Babudar robbed six banks and tried to launder the money at casinos and sportsbooks, according to U.S. attorney for the Western District of Missouri.

According to the indictment, Babudar perpetrated a string of bank and credit union robberies throughout 2022 to attend Chiefs games. He was allegedly responsible for six robberies and two attempted robberies during a nine-month stretch between March and Dec. 2022.

He also placed various wagers on the outcomes of Chiefs games. During this time, the indictment says, Babudar did not report any wages earned in the states of Missouri or Kansas.
