The Arizona Cardinals have named Josh Dobbs as their starting QB for Week 1 of the new season.
The former Tennessee Vols star turned NFL journeyman backup QB has beaten out rookie Clayton Tune for the starting gig under center in Arizona this season until Kyler Murray returns from his December ACL tear.
Dobbs, drafted by the Steelers, spent two years in Pittsburgh before short stints in Jacksonville, Cleveland, Detroit, Tennessee and now Arizona.
The Cardinals play the Washington Commanders this upcoming Sunday.
