The 2023 NFL season is here, and Cris Collinsworth is back with another head-scratching comment from the NBC booth.
While discussing the Kansas City Chiefs missing Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, Collinsworth tried to make a point about how Patrick Mahomes would have to put the team on his back, saying America is back to “learn how good Patrick Mahomes is.”
“I think America is about to find out how good he really is,” Collinsworth said on the broadcast ahead of Thursday night’s Chiefs home game against the Detroit Lions.
FYI: Patrick Mahomes is a two-time MVP and Super Bowl winner.
