Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin Issues Apology After Eagles Fans Receive Defected ‘Kelly Green’ Gear

Eagles fans complaints were loud enough that Michael Rubin had to respond.

A bunch of disgruntled Eagles fans who ordered “Kelly Green” Eagles gear from Fanatics the day it dropped shared photos of their Jalen Hurts shirts and jerseys on Twitter (X) and how horrible it was.

After the tweets went viral, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin apologized.

“Anytime we let any fan down, it’s a failure on our part and that’s on me,” Rubin tweeted about the botched merchandise. “I let some of you down and I apologize.”

A Fanatics spokesperson told The Inquirer that the company temporarily paused shipments of kelly green apparel to conduct a quality control assessment and had been contacting customers to resolve the issue.

Fanatics has also come scrutiny for delaying delivery for some Kelly Green gear to Eagles fans until after the team debut’s the uniforms in Week 7 vs Miami Dolphins.
